EVENTS: the monthly PSA 1 meeting is going to be held on Wednesday, 2-15-12, 7:00PM, at the Court Yard Apts., 1021 S. 4th St.

3^rd DISTRICT: Police Service Areas (PSA
PSA-1; East side of Broad Street to the River, South side of Lombard Street to the North side of Washington Avenue. BELLA VISTA IS ENTIRELY IN PSA-1	PSA-2; East side of 6th Street to the River, South side of Washington Avenue to the Naval Business Center.	PSA-3; East side of Broad Street to the West side of 6th Street, South side of Washington Avenue to the Naval Business Center

In an effort to deter and respond to crime patters, it is important that the public, community or individuals report incidents of crime, so officers assigned to particular PSA Teams can implement a strategy to combat the issue(s). 

If you see anything suspicious call 9-1-1.  Remember to give the 911 call taker an exact location, detailed description (from head to toe), and the direction of the offender.  Be a good witness.

February 6, 2012:

Within the past 7 days, 1-30-12 TO 2-5-12, the following incidents were reported to the 3^rd Police District.

Robberies:  There has been (6) Robberies reported with (1) arrest. Residents are reminded to always be aware of their surroundings when parking their car, especially late at night, walking alone or when in front of their residence during late night hours.

• There was (1) Shooting Incident reported this week. On 1-29-12 at 12:17am at 4th & South Street a 21 year old B/M from Upper Darby Pa. was arrested for firing his weapon at another male after an altercation, no injuries

• There was (1) Shooting Incidents reported this week, on 1-9-12 on the 400 block of Mercy Street a male attempted to commit suicide. 
• Homicides - On 1-10-12 at 1326 Dickinson St. a male & female were stabbed to death inside an apartment; on 1-13-12 an arrest was made
